Breaking Free

I refuse to feel guilty about my decision, but I can understand why others feel as though I’ve let them down. It’s not the best moment to leave, but I’ve been saying that same thing before. If I won’t do it now, I’m scared I won’t get the courage to do it anymore.

I’m scared. I’m sad. Most of all, I feel free. Maybe things will not work out the way I wanted, but I’ll remember this feeling and know I made the best choice.

Yes, I agree that leaving elicits a lot of different emotions in us and more often than not we wonder if we've really made the right choice. Probably because we're scared of the unknown as compared to what is familiar.

As to those who thinks that you've let them down, don't think too much of them. I understand them too, but sometimes you have to do what's best for you first before you do what's best for them.

Good luck Jela. I know you'll do fine. :)
